Our community is full of people who want to connect, and need a safe and comfortable space to do so. That's why we are here.
From our quiet spaces and muted tones to our simple menu and disability trained & trauma informed staff, we seek to provide the most supportive space we can for each individual and family who visits us.
Deep listening and local engagement are at the heart of all we do. We believe in being a responsive service, to adapt and evolve as needs emerge and circumstances change. So please communicate with us if we can better meet your needs, and let us know what is working!
We are open for anyone in the community needing a quiet, adaptive space to relax or connect. Our focus is on supporting individuals with additional sensory needs and/or psychosocial disability, but we are a disability-inclusive space, not a disability-specific space.
We believe in connection and collaboration with people from all walks of life, that is how we learn and grow.
We operate within a sensory-friendly cafe, providing spaces for children to engage with parents and carers, a range of therapeutic programs, free wifi and computers available for appointments/resume writing/gaming, and regular onsite social work support to meet the needs of our community.
We welcome partnerships, donations and local business support to better serve the community and grow our vision.
We have developed based on community consultation and a growing understanding of what it means to belong in community and feel that each of us is seen and heard and catered for.
